This was one of the stops on our list when we went to Kentucky for the day from West Virginia. Mom wanted to go to Butcher Holler to see the birthplace of country singer Loretta Lynn and since Pikeville wasn't too far away from that, we decided that this could be our next stop after Butcher Holler. I'm really glad we did make the trip to Pikeville as this was a neat Hampton Inn to explore. This Hampton has the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence 2013 award & is ranked #1 of the hotels in Pikeville. The staff welcomed us in the nicest way.
